ABOUT US

Nestled on a piece of native woodland in glorious Stirlingshire, the Woodhouse has been welcoming locals and visitors since 2012.
Both the premises and the team have grown over the years, and we can now accommodate up to 80 people inside the coffee shop and another 40+ outside on the terrace - weather permitting, of course!
We source as many of our ingredients and products as possible from local suppliers - our free-range eggs come from Old Leckie Farm in Gargunnock and Betty Aitkin in Fintry, our small batch ice cream comes from Milk & Honey in Stirling, we stock honey from the Dunblane and Stirling Beekeepers' Association, and our sausages and burgers come from Skinner of Kippen, whose butcher's counter you can find in our farm shop.

OUR LOVELY TEAM
We're all about great food and excellent service, and that's down to our lovely team.
Chris and Sjaanie manage things front of house, with support from Angie, while head chef Ally looks after the kitchen. And our regulars will doubtless know our longest-standing waitress, Jules, who's been at the Woodhouse since it very first opened!

Being Chris for Hallowe'en!!
Alongside them, we have a reliable roster of regular part-time and holiday staff in the café, and Deirdre and Sarah on hand to help you in the farm shop.
Whether you're shopping, dining or just grabbing a coffee, our team is always ready to welcome you and make sure you have a truly five-star visit.
All the team are big fans of dogs, so please feel free to bring your four-legged companions in with you.
We always have plenty of little treats and bowls of water to hand, and the kitchen will be more than happy to plate up a sausage or two :)

Doing our bit for the environment
Our commitment to recycling is literally built into the Woodhouse. When the site was cleared to make way for the building, the oak trees that had to be cut down were used to make all the lovely tables in the café, as well as our countertops, mirrors and wooden wall-hangings.
In 2025, we upgraded the solar panels that provide much of our electricity. Our heating comes from biomass and all our glass, plastic and cardboard waste is recycled.

And for customers with electric vehicles, we have two parking spaces at our connekt 50kW charging point, which can add 100+ miles of range in 20–40 minutes. Simply tap a payment card and re-charge while you dine with us!
