New year refurb - and a new business coming to the Woodshed!

Following a January of planning, work starts tomorrow in the farm shop to remove the current butcher’s counter, so a new one can be installed for Skinner of Kippen.

We’ll still be open for business, but please be aware that there will be some disruption while the contractors are working and fittings & furnishings are being moved around.

The new counter will be slightly smaller, allowing us to expand the shop space so we can house all our stock under one roof. And that means we’ve been able to lease the Woodshed building to a brand-new business!

Leaf Happens will be a wee independent shop of specially selected new, vintage & re-mixed items - many with a leafy twist. It’s aiming to launch in early March, opening Weds to Sun, 10am to 5pm. We’ll keep you posted on the formal start date and can’t wait to have a good nose round ourselves!

With Amanda’s Green Pea Studio continuing to occupy the space outside the front of the farm shop, selling plants, flowers and artisan gifts, there will soon be four businesses operating out of the Woodhouse premises and even more for our visitors and customers to enjoy.

Please bear with us while these changes are made – hopefully all the work will be complete by the weekend. Meanwhile, if you are visiting the café, we’d appreciate you entering via the terrace door.
